Skeletal Crossbite

This is an example of a patient with a skeletal crossbite, which means that some or all of the upper teeth are inside of the lower teeth.  Skeletal crossbites may contribute to abnormal wearing of the teeth, or in some cases, even asymmetric growth of the jaws.
